Grace was just looking for an easy sale in the midst of one of the toughest times life had brought her. She, unfortunately, was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of 2020 and during the lockdown of COVID had to deal with radiation and other forms of treatment, making it very hard to live on her own.

Making selling her home one of her top priorities. Two main issues arose in Grace’s mind when thinking about the home selling process: she did not want tons of showings coming through her home and financially had a large payment due to her new community. Grace just needed someone honest to come alongside her and make a difficult transaction simple.

Needed Cash Quick

Grace’s main pressure was the large cash payment that was due to move into her new assisted-living community. The timeline of this payment prohibited her from even considering a traditional sale, making a direct buyer her primary option. So we gave her top dollar upfront for her property within 10 days.

We obviously wanted to get Grace as much money post-resale as possible. After tweaking a couple of things within the interior of the property we relisted it on the open market.

Final Results

The property quickly resold for $886,530 leaving the property with $27,610.78 of excess, splittable profits. With Grace being eligible to receive 50% of that number, she was sent a post-resale bonus check of $13,805.31.
